Radhika Vemula is an associate attorney at KENNEDY, Attorneys and Counselors at Law. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Dallas Bar Association and is licensed to practice before the Texas State Courts.

Radhika graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas in May 2001 with a BS in Business Administration. She then went on to Oklahoma City University School of Law where she graduated in May of 2007 with a Juris Doctor. While in law school she was a volunteer for Oklahoma Lawyers for Children, interviewing abused and neglected children to gather information for the attorney representing the children at the Show Cause Hearing. She also published two papers concerning the Patient Safety Quality & Improvement Act of 2005 during that time.

After graduating from law school, Radhika completed her LL.M. in Health Law at Seton Hall University School of Law – her thesis was “Whether the Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act has become Obsolete in the Nation’s Movement toward Health Information Technology?”

Prior to joining KENNEDY, Attorneys and Counselors at Law, Radhika was a healthcare compliance intern at Richardson Regional Medical Center in Richardson, Texas, where she spent most of her time on HIPAA compliance.
