Lurese A. Terrell is an associate attorney at KENNEDY, Attorneys and Counselors at Law. She is licensed to practice before the Texas State Courts and in Federal Court in the Northern and Southern Districts of Texas, and she is admitted to the 5th Circuit of the U.S. Court of Appeals.

Lurese received her Bachelor of Science undergraduate degree from the University of Oklahoma and then graduated from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in June 1998 with a Juris Doctor. While in law school she was an officer and member or Moot Court. She was also an officer in the student chapter of Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity International, and voted outstanding third year student member by that chapter in 1998.

After graduating from Texas Wesleyan, Lurese joined the firm of Durkin & Associates in Hurst, Texas. At Durkin, Lurese practiced employment and workers' compensation law and general civil litigation. In 2005, she joined the Silvera Firm in Dallas, Texas, where she practiced workers' compensation law and civil litigation. She has been with KENNEDY, Attorneys and Counselors at Law since 2006.
